Are you a bird nerd?
Are you approached by fellow hikers commenting how on earth do you carry that weight of camera and lens around without collapsing into a burdened heap?
Go off track chasing birds who fly off into the dense forests?
Lie on the ground like a statue so that birds aren’t spooked?
Remain oblivious to folk who give you odd looks as you crouch in different positions to capture that shot of that bird.
Hang your camera out the window of your vehicle taking shots like a marksman hunting pigs?
Have friends whose eyes glaze over when you excitedly recount your story spotting Wedge-tail flying off with a joey entrapped in its claws.
Plan holidays around geographic areas where you may discover some new bird species
Take zillions of photos which end up sitting on your computer taking up raw space, awaiting review and editing.
